Before proceeding, let me ask you something

How did you became a member of the fellowship of the light (believer)?

Column A or Column B : Light or Darkness

Fellowship of the Light

Fellowship of Darkness

We have fellowship with each other. our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. Our fellowship is the fellowship of the light

(v3) We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us, our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ

(v5) This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all

(v5) This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all

If we say we have fellowship with God, and walk in the light, we are telling the truth

(v6) If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

(v7) But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin

because we walk in darkness obviously we are not in the fellowship of the light, we do not have fellowship with the Father and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son does not cleanse us from all sin

We already acknowledge our sin when we confessed them prior to joining the fellowship of the light

(v8) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

We already confessed our sins when we joined the fellowship of the light

(v9) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We believed we have sinned, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

(v10) If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us
