Grace and Peace to you all

Brethren, We firmly believe we are saved by grace through Faith. We firmly believe we are righteous by Faith. We firmly believe on justification by Faith. We know that Faith is superior to the Law and without Faith it is impossible to please God.

Anyone who sets aside Faith is a fool and stupid.

Are you so foolish that you began in The Spirit and now you finish in the flesh? … So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?
– Galatians 3:3-5

Did we conjured faith? Did we work for faith? Did we earned the faith by some good works? By no means! Then how did we have this faith?

Let us understand. Faith does not come by good works nor by serving in the ministry or working full time in the church. as the scripture says :

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ
– Romans 10:17

Jesus taught the Law; Christ revealed the Gospel

Jesus taught the Law perfectly in Matthew, Mark, Luke & John. Does hearing and hearing about the teachings of the Law brings about faith? Are we now to gain righteousness, justification and salvation through the Law? No way! an impossibility.

Does faith comes by hearing and hearing the Law? or hearing and hearing the word of Christ? Do you know that the Law voids, nullifies Faith?

For if those who are of the Law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise is nullified
– Romans 4:14

The word of Christ are the words of the resurrected Jesus. Christ words are the new covenant, which is the gospel.

Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes
– Romans 10:4

The new covenant is in the blood of Jesus. Jesus has to shed blood in order for the gospel to be in effect. The words of Christ is the gospel.

The words of the risen Christ Jesus are found in Paul’s letters. look :

I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ
– Galatians 1:11

Sin does not Void Faith

sin cannot void faith. The Law voids faith. The promise of righteousness can never be merited by righteous works or the Law. The gift of righteousness is received by faith.

The gospel is where that Righteousness of God is revealed. Anything less than the Righteousness of God is not the gospel.

Why is it then when we proclaim “God loves us so much and gave Jesus to die for our sins” almost immediately someone will speak up “Yes, God is love, but don’t forget God is judge also!” ?

Why then neutralize the gospel?  Why mixed good news and bad news ? Why the new wine into old wine skin?

Boldly we stand and proclaim “Yes! God is righteous and judge and precisely He judges all my sins at the body of Jesus and I am no longer punish for my sins! God is righteous in making me righteous by judging all my sin!”. That is truth. That is the gospel!

Law voids Faith and the Promise nullified

For if those who are of the Law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise is nullified
– Romans 4:14

The promise to Abraham was not only physical Wealth, physical Health. What else? a son. What else? lets get back to the scripture :

What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would declare the Gentiles to be righteous because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said, “All nations will be blessed through you.”
– Galatians 3:8

That’s right! Righteousness by faith. That’s the promise.

Why are we bringing the Law into the picture? The Law makes the Faith of no effect! If Faith is made of no effect, so is the promise!

No wonder we are sin conscious! No wonder we are “God will judge me”, “God is mad at me” conscious. No wonder we are demand conscious! rather than supply!

Sin – not the reason for falling from Grace

You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.
– Galatians 5:4

Brethren, ponder for one moment. Can sin, ever separate us from Christ? Isn’t it because of sin that Jesus died for us? Didn’t Jesus died while yet we were sinner? God draws himself closer to us therefore let us make every effort to draw near to Him. Run towards God.

What now? If anyone sin have they fallen away from grace? By no means! they rather qualify to grace! Those who come to the throne of grace are the ones with sin and not the righteous ones who thinks they are justified by the Law

Christ is made of no effect unto you, whosoever you are justified by the Law. If they who are of the Law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of no effect.

So when you are frustrated with something? Ask yourself this : Am I trying to merit the things given freely? Am I trying to work for the blessings that are already mine in Christ?

We are like that of the elder brother sometimes. look :

But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him! the father said ‘My son, you are always with me, and everything I have is yours
– Luke 15:30

Change your mind. Kill the fattened calf, its yours! Stop trying to work for the things that are already yours. You are a son, not a slave!

– Mark 11:22
