That of which we learned from John what he has seen and heard from the beginning. I also declare unto us : God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all”

“If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth”
– 1 John 1:6

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”
– 1 John 1:9

By all means, confess your sins everyday. did you doubt about God’s? doubting is sin. confess. do you fear the future? confess your sin. fear is sin! did you hated our boss? hate is already murder! confess your sin! failed to read bible? failed daily devotion? go on, confess. or else you wont be forgiven.

make sure to remember to forgive others as well, otherwise God will not forgive you.

“and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us”
– Matthew 6:12

Please don’t let me rob you : your joy of confessing sins in order to be forgiven. continue to confess or you won’t have forgiveness of sins

p.s. if you want to join our fellowship, read my letter below.

Dearly beloved in Christ who are in the light. I am writing to you because your sins has been forgiven you on account of Christ name, not on anyone else’s account or name but Christ’s.

“dear children I am writing to you because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name”
– 1 John 2:12

God forgives your sins not because of daily confessions, but on Christ name whom God the Father is so pleased with. God forgave all our sins, once and for all in Christ.

“God forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross”
– Colossians 2:13

“Christ suffered for our sins once for all time”
– 1 Peter 3:18

“so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people”
– Hebrews 9:28

I am also reminding you to forgive each other. in your church someone might have wrong you and the person is conscious of it. why not just forgive them since Christ has forgiven us of all sins anyway? show them who you really are.

“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others”
– Colossians 3:13

“Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you”
– Ephesians 4:32

Don’t be anxious or depressed when you miss the mark (hamartia). don’t beat yourself either and say “I should have know better”. Jesus is not condemning you nor harassing you for ‘hamartia’. Jesus knows better than you. He left us with the holy Spirit. then He sat at the right hand of God, the place of justification. so when you sin you have an ally or advocate and He will remind you of who you really are. your true identity.

“But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins”
– 1 John 2:1-2

do you see? Jesus is still on your side (advocate) even when you fail. God does not throw you into darkness when you miss the mark? no. but rather, the blood of His Son Jesus cleanses you of all sins

“we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin”
– 1 John 1:7

God who is our Father, does not want to loose you again. no way! He has done every means to save you. He gave Jesus, His only Son. He values you so much, otherwise He could have sent an angel or prophets to die on your behalf. No way! You are always in His sight. No one can snatch you out of the palm of His hand! not even you, yourself.

“no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand”
– John 10:29

Dearly beloved, there are no IF or conditions for you. The Father’s love for you is Unconditional! there are no IFs. He will never allow you to earn His love for you.

if that is not enough to convince you, just remember He gave us the Holy Spirit. the holy Spirit is our Advocate [paraklétos], Comforter. He makes sure to convict [elégxō] and convince you with solid, compelling evidence and especially to expose Righteousness.

“concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me”
– John 16:10

do you see that? the Advocate and the Comforter is your ally and help. He will remind you “You are still Righteous” even when you miss the mark [hamartia].

the Holy Spirit will convince you with solid and compelling evidence that you are Righteous. He will expose righteousness in you. He will remind you that “you do not lose righteousness because of sin”.

so don’t listen to the accuser of the brethren (the devil). although Day and Night they never tire of reminding us of sins in order to bring us into condemnation. he is already judged and will soon be thrown down. if he reminds you of your past, remind him of his future

“the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb
– Revelation 12:10

“concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged”
– John 6:11

bear in your heart & mind : “all your sins has been forgiven, punished at the body of Christ”

behold. in the gospel of Christ, is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith. not the sinfulness of man. if your sinfulness is revealed by a message you heard, run away. that is not the gospel. the gospel means good news. the good news is that all your sins has been forgiven and you are declared righteous by faith, before the Judge.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH’ ”
– Romans 1:16-17

Dearly beloved, We all have conscience. even the atheist who do not believe in God, has a conscience. how did it came to be? from our parent – Adam.

“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves”
– Genesis 3:6-7

our conscience decides what is right or wrong. after all, that fruit is from “the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil”. they dressed themselves on fig leaves branded as “self righteousness”.

when we miss the mark [hamartia] our conscience is stained with guilt. although we know how much we are forgiven of all sins, still our conscience troubles us. if we fight our conscience, we lose and end up in condemnation. do not fight but rather fix. let us fix our eyes on Jesus and His finish work. Christ is the propitiation of our sins. let us be reminded that the sacrifice He did is perfect.

the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins”
– Hebrews 10:1-2

Dearly beloved, this is the finish work of Christ that you shall have no more consciousness of sins, because all you sins have been punished in His body completely. there is real Peace with God. there is peace with your conscience now because the sacrifice works. The holy Spirit testifies to you and on God’s behalf and declares forth

“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more
– Hebrews 10:17

know this : Jesus have successfully started the new covenant after His death and resurrection. again the Holy Spirit testifies to you and declare

“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more
– Hebrews 10:17

Dearly Beloved, we are the ministers of the new covenant that gives life. let us boldly proclaim the true gospel of Christ which is about the Righteousness of God. let us declare boldly without fear, guilt or shame.

“He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life”
– 2 Corinthians 3:6

for we are the ministers of the new covenant and our message brings forth life, not about sin and death

“the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone”
– 2 Corinthians 3:7

  • under the old covenant – forgive or you will not be forgiven
  • under new covenant – forgive because God has forgiven you through Christ

therefore I say unto you,

“ forgive because you have been forgiven.
love because you have been loved
work out salvation because you have been saved
give because God has given you all things in Christ ”

amen

grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
