don’t do it….law always persecutes grace….don’t let them win….let Jesus’ light shine on you.
Remember, if you weren’t getting persecuted you wouldn’t be pushing the edge of grace.
I heard Joseph Prince minister once on this. He said, basically, the church should be getting persecuted, like Paul and the others, for preaching grace, not for the controversial messages. If we preach what Jesus preached….we are going to be persecuted….so……you make the call…….

I get discouraged daily myself. Even JP himself talks about not paying any attention to those who criticize him for his grace teaching. JP mentions if you’re not being attacked then you’re not preaching Grace like Paul preached it.
No one likes to be attacked. I think it takes someone special who can take all the world seems to deliver to when all they want to do is preach/teach the true Gospel of Christ.
It is sites and blogs like this that continue to give me hope. Please do not give up. Be strong and consider even the little ones who might find comfort in your words here.
I will say that I am under attack myself. But it’s not from people, it’s from Satan. The more I hear the Grace message the more I want to believe. But I gotta say sometimes it just feels like nothing is working for me. It seems that all the praying and believing I am doing for a few things in my life is getting me nowhere. I read others testimonies about the blessings they seem to be getting and nothing seems to be coming my way. I seek even the smallest blessing or message from God to help me in my struggles but all I seem to be getting is silence.
I have a few Christian friends who are in no way even close to the Faith or Grace message I have been around and they are getting blessed. I sometimes wonder just how much more believing does a Believer have to do to actually “get” what they are believing for.
I would take even something small to help build my faith. Lately it seems all the faith I feel I have is not working. I know God is not a liar. I know the Word is not a liar. I know the Bible does not lie. This is what made me kinda back track for many years in the faith movement. It seemed all the believing, faith believing, seemed to get me nowhere.
Stumbling across Joseph Prince gave me a jump start back into the Word and a new found faith in the true Gospel of Grace of Jesus Christ. But after diving into it for months now it still seems I’m coming back to the/a point where I began to wane last the time…….just how much faith does it take to believe even for a little miracle?
I will not give up but lately sometimes I go to bed and do not even want to pray as I feel it’s not getting me anywhere.
So brother hang in there.
Watch the movie “Facing the Giants” I’m watching it now.

The Lord has been making me understand His grace more and more over the last couple of years, and I have noticed that as I grow in the revelation of His grace, satan has tried to bring subtle tactics to distort it. One in particular, where he has tried to get me to focus on my own faith – do I have enough faith to receive from The Lord, etc. The Lord has shown me that satan is trying to make faith into a work. I am finding that as I focus on the love and grace of Jesus, that my faith springs forth automatically. When I see His goodness, it is easy to receive. But if I focus on what I think may be my own “level” of faith, it is like putting myself under the law, and I wind up with a fear of falling short. Joseph Prince has an excellent explanation of this in Chapter 21 of his book “Destined to Reign”, I highly recommend it. Be encouraged my friend, it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32). Blessings to you!

it has been more than a year since i posted this, and yes hard times come and go. I discovered, it is Jesus who saves. in other words, no matter how much i get put down, Jesus saves me.
when Peter doubted and sank in the ocean, Jesus saved him. Jesus saved Peter not because he has faith. I believe even if Peter did not cried for help, Jesus would still reach out to Peter. but it is natural for human to cry for help
since i started this blog, I have been called many names. false teacher, teaching the devils doctrine, called hypocrite, was mocked, i have been accused of adultery, thief. bullied at work then lost a job countless times. hated by some Christians because i tell them their future sins are forgiven, ….etc etc etc.
well, in the end, it wasn’t my faith that kept me. but Jesus’ loved for me.
the focus is no longer my love, or my faith. but rather on Jesus love for us, and God’s faithfulness. amen.
again thank you so much for your encouragements. brothers/sisters from the same mother (grace) are awesome.!

Sorry to hear that you have no strength left to go on with the witness. The truth is, we all have no strength of our own. The strength, like the grace, comes only from one source…the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Without Him, we are nothing, have nothing, can do nothing. We serve a VERY BIG GOD…unless we make Him small by the faith we have in Him and His ability to overcome the enemy. How much more He endured for our sakes.
Just this week I began a personal self-study in Revelations. We definitely are close the end of the church age and of course the attack from the enemy is going to become fiercer and fiercer. Our witness is not about us, but all about Him. As in Galations 2:10…”we are crucified with Him”…and it He Who is living in us…His life to overcome and our part is to keep our focus strictly on HIm. In this morning’s portion of my Revelation study, I chewed/meditated on the message Jesus gave to the Church in Smyrna and took it very personally. I encourage you to read it and meditate on it for yourself and let the Spirit speak to you and guide you. The church of Smyrna was, among other things, a persecuted church. Jesus, in speaking to them acknowledges His awareness of their persecution; And, He is aware of YOUR persecution. In chapter 2:10 He says, “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: …..be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” James 1:12 says, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.”
By way of application, I have to look inwardly and ask myself in what measure I love Him? He, Who is Sovereign, after all, has allowed all these scoffers to sling their evil words to you…but is He not GREATER than all of these?…is He not Judge of all the earth? Will He not recompense them who dare to attack one of His children? I encourage you to look to Jesus the Author and Finisher of your faith…and trust Him and continue your witness for Him. All the flack is not about you…it is about Him. They are sinning against God, Ps. 51:4. These scoffers must not win.
♫Stand up, stand up for Jesus, Ye soldiers of the Cross…Life high your Royal Banner, it must not suffer loss! ….♫.
Another one that Jesus died for…,

My beloved fellow Grace blogger,
Upon reading what you have had to say in your writings, it ministers to my heart that the Spirit is working through your humility and words of understanding concerning the division between that which is soul (religious) and that which is truly of the Spirit. The accuser of the brethren doesn’t care to have his cover blown and because of any abundance of revelation of the grace of God, it creates a tremendous threat to him. Paul was assigned a thorn in the flesh by Satan (not God as traditionally taught) to buffet him because he didn’t want Paul to be prominent because Paul’s message of Grace would then become prominent above measure.
For the last several years, I too have been experiencing what seems to be a most mysterious, supernatural attempt to reduce my inward strength down to nothing. It leaves me feeling useless and stuck in the mud, spinning my wheels, so to speak. It’s something I’m not used to experiencing and it seems that as the understanding of grace increases, so does the external opposition, some involving petty strife generated by loved ones and and some, simply occurring unseen in the mental, emotional realm involving inexplicable heaviness and oppression.
During one such period of considerable difficulty, when I felt I had no one to turn to to understand me, I received the following while in prayer to help me keep my heart encouraged, focused and watchful against the lying, accusing forces who are spirits of the antichrist sent to discourage us and shut our mouths. If you can benefit or relate to any of it, I pray that your heart will be encouraged. Of course, I pray that it will be encouraged anyway:
The Word of grace is the only mirror we Christians have to reflect the exact image of our spirit back to ourselves. Nothing else bears witness with our recreated spirit outside of the Word and the Holy Spirit who agree with each other in perfect harmony.
The image of the Word speaks spirit (faith) to our heart.
Without the time spent beholding the Word, the image in our heart grows faint causing us to draw back into our self (flesh). Our heart is then subject to being overwhelmed by the weaknesses in the flesh which causes a sin consciousness which causes us to obligate ourselves to the Law. When that happens we go into the bondage of the world, self-consciously pursuing a life of always trying to improve to bring ourselves back up to the level of righteousness that can only exist and is in fact already full and complete in our spirit.
Our Spirit is created forever in the identical liberty of the resurrected Christ. Our boldness to access the Spirit is 24/7 because the blood of Christ is our right to depart from self to enter and remain walking in the spirit.
The Word (spirit reality) is received into our heart but only becomes active through our confession of it. When we cease establishing the Word as a witness on the earth through speaking new creation realities, the Word is turned off and the flesh’s frequency is the only thing comprehended and eventually submitted to.
If we want to remain totally free, regardless of circumstances, we must (a): continue in the Word, recognizing that any approval toward us from God is entirely apart from any attempt on our part to gain it as we gaze at the reflection of who we are in the Spirit by comprehending God’s approval of Christ. (b): speak the new creation realities of the Word that we are seeing in order to activate it.(c) Build ourselves up on our most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit.
Our spirit = Of God exclusively. Created in Christ, incorruptible. Incapable of descending to any lower than the level of the resurrected Christ in zoe life.
Our flesh = Of self. Self attempting to achieve from its position of weakness, the righteousness attainable (and already attained to) only by the spirit.

Excellent reply Geoff! I have experienced this in my life as well over the last two years. As the revelation of grace (fullness of Jesus) enters our lives the enemy goes into attack mode trying to neutralize us. The mental attacks….Paul’s thorn in the flesh. But God’s grace is sufficient.
savedbygrace said:
Geoff, you’ve said it perfectly.
the only kind of persecution I cannot stand is the one from loved ones. they sting hard.

Don’t be discouraged brother. 1 Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun ta good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Remember the revelation of the parable of the talents. We can’t expect those that don’t receive His grace upon grace to be able to understand the truth and receive it. After all, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
God loves all but He likes you because you receive the fullness of His Son. I can boldly say that you are a 5 talent person.
I find that under pure grace the enemy attacks fiercely. The thorns and thistles are unbearable but God says “my grace is sufficient”. The enemy knows that we will reign in life as we receive His abundance of grace and His gift of righteousness. So he attacks those that receive this abundance of grace and His gift of righteousness. But know that the enemy is a liar and deceiver. He attacks what God has already completed in our lives. So if he attacks the truths you are sharing then know that doors have already been opened for you to share more truths to more people.
God is stirring up a generation to preach His pure grace, the fullness of Jesus.
It may seem that as we receive more grace we see less answers in our lives. In fact there are a number of people around the world that have lost their home church because they have believed in the Gospel of Grace. Know that the passion and desires that God has placed in our hearts only He can complete.
And I can guarantee that everyone that has received this pure grace has grown tremendously in the spirit, their souls have prospered. And since that is the case, we have our promise in 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
We haven’t chatted in a while. I’ll send you an email.

Dear Brother:
Romans 5 tells us we stand in grace and in rejoicing in the hope of the glory of God. The Apostles, knowing this rejoiced in suffering for Christ; not because they took pleasure in suffering but because it came with the territory in which they were standing. Romans 8 teaches that grace condemns sin and because of that the Holy Spirit does everything in its power to convict the sinner of sin and free them from condemnation. But, until grace is felt through justification by faith sinners will rage on against the one thing that will save them. Do not take it personally – it’s a spiritual thing. The cross is foolishness until the fool awakens to the reality of the God who is to be worshiped and exalted. So, don’t quit – worship! Do not approve the sinful comments made by sinful men. Abide in grace. Stand there!

When you’re doing very little, nobody will bother you. But when you are making an impact, the Enemy of our souls finds ready emissaries to take aim at you. It goes with the calling. too many to sins of the past to mention. i might not remember them all.
i tried to love God with all my heart, mind, soul, strength but ended doing the exact opposite
…
when people close to us, see that we are changed, from worst to being saved, they couldn’t believe that.
i realized, the initial reaction of people is to pull you down the mud again.
we cannot blame them, for OWN FLESH does the same thing to us. we know that the Flesh is at war to the SPIRIT
the thing that is really frustrating was those people whom you though to be “Christians” are the ones condemning you. reminding you of sins.
take note, the family are the ones reminding of sins… we dont need the holy Spirit to remind us of sins.. our love ones does it best! lol
but of course, its all in the past. i am moving forward, and i dont care what people say about me, for the holy Spirit says “I am the righteousness of God in Christ”

When I first saw your blog today I was greatly encouraged! I have been looking for more people who teach about the grace of God boldly. I’m glad for all the articles you’ve posted, they are very encouraging and I would argue that they are gospel.
You definitely don’t have feel pressure to continue the blog if you don’t want to. I just started blogging about God’s grace and have already received my first rebuke. However, that was a sign to me that my message is really transforming. After all, if its alive enough to offend the religion out of people then that means its also powerful enough to bless them. When God first started teaching me about grace, I argued with Him a lot and was offended. So I’m not surprised that others feel the same. But I would encourage you to continue. It is an blessing to many and it contains a lot of life in it!
I have also had people close to me disagree on the same issues you present in your blog. So much so, that I almost gave up on this gospel a couple times. However, time has proven that it is true and I have seen my life greatly blessed because of it. So instead of seeking man’s approval, I am learning to seek God’s. If you need encouragement you are welcome to come over to my blog.
