Why do people say “But we need Laws for moral guide!”.
What does the scripture say about who was it made for?

“We also know that LAW IS NOT MADE FOR THE RIGHTEOUS but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers–and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine”
– 1 Timothy 1:9-10

Right! Law was made for perverts. Perverts has no moral guide.

Are you a Pervert!? if so, first memorize the Law, then obey it!

But for those who are Righteous by Faith and not works, Grace teaches them godliness. They have nothing to do with Laws for they are Justified by Faith.

“Grace teaches us to say ‘NO’ to Ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age”
– Titus 2:12

Those under grace manifest the Law for Love is the fulfillment of the Law

  • 01. not only do they NOT have other gods, they are the temple of God
  • 02. not only do they NOT take the name of “Jesus” in vain, People praise the name of Jesus on their account
  • 03. not only do they NOT work 8 days a week, they work out their salvation by not working for salvation
  • 04. not only do they honor their father or mother, they are honored by their children and children’s children
  • 05. not only do they forsake carved image, they are God’s image. not carved but created from God’s image
  • 06. not only do they NOT murder, they will undergo a heart transplant for their mother and father in law
  • 07. not only do they NOT commit adultery, they submit to their spouse out of love and love out of love
  • 08. not only do they NOT steal, they purposely hand over a brand new pair of socks to the shoes robber
  • 09. not only do they NOT bear false witness against a neighbor, they are willing to go to jail to serve for the neighbor’s sentence
  • 10. not only do they NOT covet a neighbor’s house or property, they shall let a homeless dine with them & live with them

I have not memorized the Law, but surely I fully have obeyed for Christ my representative perfectly obeyed the Law. Jesus has fulfilled the Law for me.

God First Loved me because I cannot love God with all my heart, my soul, my strength, my mind

“We love because he first loved us”
– 1 John 4:19

If I can love God with all my strength, my mind, my soul, my heart, then Jesus death was in vain!

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and Love your neighbor as yourself”
– Luke 10:27

If I can obey the Law which is summarized in “Love God and your neighbor” and be proclaim righteous in the Judge’s sight, then Jesus died in vain!

“I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”
– Galatians 2:21

The Law does not Teach. It Demands!

Did you know?

“that whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it”
– James 2:10

The Law DOES NOT TEACH godliness, holiness, righteousness or morality. the Law DEMANDS godliness, holiness, righteousness or morality.

the Law demands of which NONE OF US can satisfy

If Righteousness comes from the Law, then Jesus died in vain

“I do not set aside the grace of God, for If righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”
– Galatians 2:21

if Righteousness could be gained through the law then Christ died for nothing!

suffice to say if Righteousness CANNOT be gained through the Law, then why are we DEMANDING Righteousness from the Law?

“If a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law”
– Galatians 3:21

if Life can come out of the Law then Christ’s death was in vain!

suffice to say if Life CANNOT be imparted through the Law, then why are we RESSURECTING ourselves to the Law?

“…you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another”
– Romans 7:4

We are dead to the Law!

“you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God”
– Romans 7:4

We cannot be married to Jesus, and also married to the Law! That’s Adultery!breaking the 7th commandment.. “7th Thou Shall not commit adultery”

We cannot bear fruit, apart from being married to Jesus!

What is the 7th fruit of the Spirit?

Faith is the 7th fruit

if you are not married to Jesus then don’t expect to bear Faith!

“For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God”
– Galatians 2:19

how can you have Faith when you are under the Law?

“For if those who live by law are heirs, faith has no value and the promise is worthless”
– Romans 4:14

Love is a Fruit of our Marriage with Jesus

Why must we bear Love?

answer : “So that we can love God with all our heart, mind, soul, strength”

when a government imposes a Law that says “Parents must love their children”. It will be an insult to me

I am a loving parent! Hey! I am more than willing to give my life for my children.

with that law or without that law, I shall surely love my children, even if they are stubborn at times (the more I love them)

The Law is for the world to lead them to Christ

“So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith”
– Galatians 3:24

Summary

Obedience comes out of Love naturally.

We do not Love because we Obey
rather
We Obey because we Love
We Love because we have been First Loved by God

Those under grace are always eager to do what is right and good. always looking for ways to do good to others. always in the wait for opportunity to bless others

“… a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good”
– Titus 2:14

Those who are under the Law are murderers, adulterers, perverts … They need the Law to point them to Jesus for their salvation

“So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith”
– Galatians 3:24

But you who are under Grace are under God’s Amazing Love. Amen.

– Grace and Peace
