From Adam to Abraham; Saul to Saul; Moses to Paul
All Adam seeds are Sinner. Cain, Abel, Abraham, Moses, David, Saul, the other Saul, Lot, Rahab, You, Me and our children’s children are in the list as well
Cain a Sinner not because he slayed his brother Abel. but a Sinner by birth
Abel a Sinner but proclaimed Righteous because of the future blood of Jesus
Abraham a Sinner but Righteous by faith. not because he offered Isaac
Moses a Sinner but Righteous not because of the Law
David a Murderer/Adulterer but was Righteous, surely not by works! but by Faith
Rahab declared Righteous not for hiding the spies but for believing. Shall we go on and tell of Joseph? Joshua? Lot? Job? Ruth? Look at the hall of Great Faith.
What does this tell us? that all are Righteous in spite of the Sin? by no means! not all are Righteous.
look at Cain. had he offered blood, he would have been declared righteous. God was persuading Cain to offer the sin-offering. Cain did not believe, why would he offer? there was no work of faith.
Genesis 4:7 (YLT)
7 Is there not, if thou dost well, acceptance? and if thou dost not well, at the opening a sin-offering is crouching, and unto thee its desire, and thou rulest over it.’
God showed Cain the way of the blood. but he chose “the way of Cain” (1 John 3:12, Jude 1:11). “the way of Cain” is rejecting the blood.
True Righteousness is through the blood of Jesus alone
The Many Were Made, The Many Will Be Made
Romans 5:17 (NIV)
17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
Romans 5:19 (NIV)
19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous
Those who receive Grace will be made Righteous through Jesus. it is those who Receive Grace and the Gift of Righteousness who will reign (Romans 5:17)
Why “will be made”? we know “will be made” is future tense. how will “the many” be made Righteous? by receiving Grace and the Gift of Righteousness
Why “were made”? we know “were made” is in past tense. in other words, “the many” were made Sinners because of the Sin from Adam.
the many, who will be made, were those sinners in the past who put their Faith in the coming Jesus. to them, Jesus is Future. Abel was declared Righteous because of the future blood of Jesus. same with Abraham and the rest of them
today, we were made Righteous because of the past blood of Jesus. the blood is significant. for instance, Cain was not declared Righteous because there was no blood in his offering. Abel was declared Righteous because his offering involved blood. God looks at the blood as a sign of Faith. it was a sweet aroma of worship to God because it tells God of the love of his Son Jesus for Him.
not all were made Righteous because not all Receive the Gift. just like Cain, when God has presented him a “sin-offering”, instead of slaying the “sin-offering”, he rejected it.
What happens next? Cain slew Abel. shed his brothers blood instead
Conclusion (on part 2)
The many were not made Sinners because of the sinful actions committed. in the same manner, the many will not be made Righteous by committing righteous works.
The many were made Sinners because all Sinned, all Sinned because of Adam Sin
The many will be made Righteous by Receiving Grace and the Gift of Righteousness
Salvation is by Grace through Faith. God has presented us the Sin-offering who is Jesus, the lamb of God who takes away the Sins of the world.
the many were “forcibly” made Sinners but the Gift is not like that, “forcing” people to be righteous. the Gift is presented and given to us freely. Shall we Receive? yes and amen and amen
